Texnikoi Engineering Honorary is inviting you to enter the Engineering and Architecture Poster Contest for Engineering and Architecture Week. Rewards will include sweet prizes for winners and the publicity of the poster hanging in Hitchcock Hall during E&A Week, April 22-29, 2006. The poster contest is intended to raise engineering and architecture awareness among all students.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate!!! There will be two categories: Engineering/Architecture Entrants (UGrad and Grad, faculty, staff) and Non-Engineering/Architecture Entrants (UGrad and Grad, faculty, staff). The only eligibility requirement is that contest entrants must be Ohio State students, faculty or staff.

Posters should reflect some idea in engineering or architecture that can be understood by the general population. Some suggested ideas are:

• What is engineering?
• senior projects
• independent studies
• internship or co-op experiences
• research
• historical events
• interesting discoveries
• student projects, etc.

Individuals, teams, and organizations are all welcome to enter. Please remember to keep your content at an introductory to intermediate level. Poster judging criterion will include aesthetics, how well it conveys an engineering/architecture message, and how easy it is to understand. The poster must be submitted April 17 and 18, 2006 (Monday and Tuesday before E&A Week), and posters can be dropped off to Dave McCarthy's Office on those days. No pre-registration is necessary.

Poster Specifications:

• At least 1 square foot
• No larger than 30 square feet
• Two dimensional
• Must be able to hang on the wall
